Ana Rovzar is an independent advisor and a multi-lingual speaker and moderator. Ana’s specialty is in managing partnerships and leading policy dialogues on clean energy transitions. Since 2013 she has gathered experience in policy analysis, advocacy and public relations on sustainable energy, development and global affairs.

Ana is based in Brussels, speaks 7 languages, and has lived and worked across Latin-America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

She has organized, spoken and moderated 40+ in-person and virtual ministerial conferences, international events, courses and roundtables. She has provided strategic advisory to executive management, organized ministerial summits and dialogues, managed knowledge and advocacy projects, and served as focal point working with governments, private sector, international organizations and NGOs.

Prior to becoming an independent advisor in Brussels, Ana was Africa Programme Officer at the Paris-based International Energy Agency (IEA-OECD) and International Relations and Communications manager at RES4Africa Foundation in Rome, Italy. Until 2016, she was based in Cairo, Egypt as international relations specialist with the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), and before that she was part of the international news desk team at Mexico City-based Televisa, Latin America’s biggest media corporation. Ana’s educational background is in political science and international relations from Ghent University and SciencesPo Paris.
